Khan Khentii National Park
Khan Khentii National Park is the native land of Genghis Khan and contains many important historical and cultural sites. Khan Khentii National Park is landscape of transition from Siberian taiga forest to grass steppe. Khan Khentii Mountain National Park is one of the Mongolian natural and historical treasures, declared by UNESCO as world heritage site.
Length of the way: Khan Khentii National Park is 290 km from Ulaanbaatar and 90 km from Mungunmorit soum.
Duration of the travel: The road is paved until Terelj National Park and rest of it is dust. It is 3 hours drive from Ulaanbaatar to Khan Khentii National Park.

Private Transportation:There is no flight or public transportation is available to Khan Khentii National Park. So you should rent your favorite vehicles from Travel Agencies in Ulaanbaatar with experienced drivers and tour guides if you want. Russian jeep and minivans are suitable for Mungunmorit road to Khan Khentii National Park.
